First National's Queensland agents sparkle at GEM Awards
First National Real Estate recognised its outstanding Queensland achievers at the General Excellence and Marketing (GEM) Awards on Saturday night at Sofitel Brisbane.

First National Real Estate is Australia’s largest independent real estate network and its gala evening celebrated the best of Queensland’s real estate performances over the past year, which, according to First National Real Estate’s QLD chairman, Mr Mike Gray required considerable focus and discipline to achieve.

“While the property market showed signs of recovery last year, conditions remained far from ideal in many locations and agents needed to stay focused on systems, processes and professional development to deliver excellent results for their customers” Mr Gray said.

“The GEM Awards bring recognition to all that hard work, and the competitive spirit that is a part of daily operations in our estate agency.”

On the night, the Top 10 Offices for the network in QLD were named and included:

Emma Robinson of First National Real Estate Brassall was named ‘Sales Rookie of the Year’ while Kathryn Graham of First National Real Estate Upper Coomera was awarded  ‘Property Manager of the Year’.

Mr Gray said the First National GEM Awards are an important event within the real estate profession as they present an opportunity for members to come together and share their thoughts and views on the industry and events that affect them, such as the Government’s recently abandoned attempt to create a national real estate licensing system and the Qld governments proposed changes to the PAMD Act.
