Real joy and honour for Hedland First National

Hedland First National Real Estate has made a clean sweep at last week’s WA First National Gala Awards.


The awards celebrate excellence in real estate performance.

The agency won Sales Office of the Year – had the highest number of exclusive listings and settled sales for a medium office in the commercial category and won the highest number of exclusive listings for a medium office in the combined category Principal Morag Lowe said: “As principal, I’m absolutely delighted at the professionalism and dedication of every member of staff at Hedland First National.

“Everyone works very hard to achieve these absolutely outstanding results.” Individuals were also recognised on the night, including Rick Hockey who was named the Salesperson of the Year in the State, as well as receiving the award for highest gross commissions in the combined residential, commercial and rural category Serge Doumergue, received a Diamond Award for the number of commercial listings achieved, and trophies in the commercial sector for top gross commissions, number of exclusive listings, and the most settled sales.

He was also named among the top 10 salespeople for the year in the State in the combined residential, commercial and rural category Rhonda Smithers, who is based in Newman, received a trophy for the number of residential settled sales achieved.

Ms Lowe said the First National Awards were an important event as it presented an opportunity for members to come together to share their thoughts and views on the industry and events that affect them.

“During trying times, like the recent floods and cyclones, our members band together and help each other where they can but often in large States and territories like ours, it is only at these types of social events that they are able to come face to face with each other~” Ms Lowe said.
