Date: 4 September 2013
A local real estate agency has taken out the award for Top Sales Office of the Quarter for the second time in a row plus a flurry of other awards in Perth last week.

First National Margaret River won the honours at the First National Real Estate’s Quarterly Awards, held at the Pan Pacific Hotel.

The quarterly awards celebrated the best real estate performance of the network’s agents over the past three months in Western Australia, and were attended by First National Real Estate’s chief executive, Ray Ellis.

Mr Ellis said he was impressed by the achievements of the First National Margaret River team and that they were a reflection of hard work, dedication and the agency’s commitment to ongoing professional development.

“Quality only happens when people care and given the achievements of the First National Margaret River office, it is obvious the staff and management take pride in achieving more than is expected for their customers,” Mr Ellis said.

“Each staff member who won an award could not have done so if it were not for the support and cohesion of the whole team.
“The staff at First National Margaret River regularly participates in the network’s webinars as well as local training events, and is committed to the refinement of its skills.

“At First National Margaret River, they don’t just say we put you first’, they live that promise.

The agency received additional awards for the highest number of exclusive residential listings, the highest number of settled residential sales, the highest number of exclusive commercial listings, and the highest gross sales commission.

Senior property manager Robin Hopewell was recognised for her exceptional property management skills, achieving the award for Highest Gain of Properties Under Management for WA.

Sales representative Craig Bamford and First National Margaret River co-director Maureen Fowler were both awarded in the Top 10 Salesperson of the Quarter status.

As well as recognising high achievers, Mr Ellis said the First National Quarterly Awards are important as they present an opportunity for the network’s 28 Western Australia offices, stretching from Albany to the Kimberley, to come together and express thoughts and views on the property market and the dynamics affecting it.
